I began my career as a production artist when fax machines were new technology. I've worked as a graphic designer, web designer, art director, creative director, print department manager, audio engineer, and video producer among other things. I've seen the marketing and communications industries change drastically in a relatively short period of time.
As mentioned all over this site, I believe that no other medium has the ability to communicate as effectively as video, and so that is where I've chosen to focus my energy. My experience in a wide range of marketing and communication disciplines has given me a foundation to build on, using new technologies and methods to create elegant solutions. Being able to pull the many elements together that make up a quality production fuels my creativity.
On the personal side, my wife Kelly and I have lived most of our married lives in Clarkston, Georgia. Clarkston is a suburb of Atlanta that is located just inside the perimeter between Decatur and Stone Mountain. Years of government settlement of refugees from all over the world make this community unique. We have neighbors from South Sudan, Afganistan, Myanmar, Bosnia, Ethiopia, and more. The culture here is in constant flux as new people arrive and others move on to stake their claim on the American dream. To say it's an interesting place to live would be an understatement. There are always new sights (and smells) to take in. Living in this area makes my world bigger and I'm grateful for it.
I'm the youngest of five and a proud father of two. I'm a Reformed Baptist, reluctant Subaru owner, allergy sufferer, animal lover, small-time landlord, and vintage BMW motorcycle enthusiast.
My desire is to make a good living creating work that I can be proud of. I want to be a blessing to my customers and employees and to create video content that communicates honestly and effectively.
